The new pergola is up and will be a great addition to the Hummingbird Garden in 2018!! Many thanks to the donations, memorials, and volunteers that made this possible. Mark your calendars for August 18th, 2018! The Hummingbird Garden is put to sleep for the winter, the hummingbirds and butterflies should all be basking in the Sun at their Southern winter homes. Working on new additions to the garden for 2018. 🙂 On September 25th we were honored to be part of the "Hennepin County Master Gardener Tour" that visited in our area!! The first week of October...still seeing a hummingbirds, butterflies and blooms! 🙂 ... See more

The Hummingbird Garden is pretty quiet now....a few flowers survived the frost. The volunteers will be putting the garden to sleep soon for the winter. October 7th in the Hummingbird Garden. Three Monarchs and one Painted Lady butterfly. .
October 4th & 5th in the Hummingbird Garden. Three Painted Lady butterflies, small white butterfly(Cabbage White ?), a few bees, hornets and a couple mosquitoes. Have only one hummingbird feeder for now. The one I saw the other day was drinking from the flowers. 🙂 ... See more
